Manage your subscription and plan¶
Check your current plan and trial status, and upgrade, downgrade, or top up your extensions, users, or numbers.
Who this is for: admins
Before you start¶
- Admin access to your Phonovo portal.
- If you're upgrading, have a card or UK bank account ready — upgrades and add-on purchases take payment immediately.
Steps¶
- In the sidebar, under Administration, select Subscriptions.
- The page opens on your current plan: its name, status (Trial, Active, Cancelled, or Suspended), billing period, and billing email. If you're on a trial, a banner shows how many days remain — it turns red once you're down to a week or less.
- Below that, Resource Usage shows how many of your plan's Users, Extensions, and Phone Numbers you've used, plus Outbound Minutes if your plan has a minutes cap.
- To change plan, select Manage Subscription in the top right. This opens Choose a Plan, showing every available plan as a card with its monthly price and what's included (users, extensions, DIDs, minutes, and features like IVR or Call Recording). Your current plan is marked Current.
- Select a different plan's card to choose it. A confirmation panel opens on the right:
- Upgrading to a pricier plan shows a prorated amount due today (covering the rest of your current billing period) and asks you to choose a payment method — Credit / Debit Card or Direct Debit.
- Downgrading to a cheaper plan shows no charge — it takes effect at the end of your current billing period instead. If you currently have more users than the new plan includes, a warning tells you to remove some before the change takes effect.
- Select Upgrade (or Confirm Downgrade) to proceed. For card upgrades, you may be asked to complete a verification step from your card issuer — follow the on-screen prompts to finish.
- To add extra capacity without changing plan, go back to the Subscriptions page and select Purchase Add-ons (in the Resource Usage panel), or one of the + Add More Users / Extensions / Numbers links under each usage bar. Choose the resource type and quantity, pick Credit Card or Direct Debit, and select Purchase Now. Card purchases are applied to your account immediately; Direct Debit purchases redirect you to set up or confirm your mandate first.
