View your rates and upload your own carrier rate sheets (BYOC)¶
Check the wholesale call rates Phonovo charges you, and — if you bring your own carrier — upload and activate that carrier's rate sheet.
Who this is for: partners
Before you start¶
- Access to your Phonovo partner portal.
- The BYOC Rate Sheets tab only applies if you have your own carrier gateway assigned to your partner account. If you don't, ask a Phonovo SuperAdmin to assign one before you try to upload a sheet.
- This page shows your buy rates and lets you manage your own carrier's rate sheet. To set the markup you add on top of these rates for your customers, see Set your call rate markup and customer overrides.
Steps¶
Viewing your rates¶
- In the sidebar, select Revenue, then choose Customer Pricing.
- On the My Rates tab, choose a Carrier from the dropdown if you have more than one assigned.
- The table lists your buy rate per minute for each prefix, destination, and category. Provider cost, Phonovo's own markup, and the rule trace behind the number aren't shown here — this is your buy price only.
- Select Refresh to reload the table.

Uploading a BYOC rate sheet¶
- Select the BYOC Rate Sheets tab.
- Select Upload sheet.
- Follow the CSV format guide shown in the dialog, and select the template download link if you need a starting file.
- Enter a Sheet name, choose the Carrier (only carrier gateways you own are listed), and optionally set an Effective from date and time — if this is in the future, the sheet stages and activates automatically at that time instead of right away.
- Choose your CSV file and select Upload. Any row-level errors are listed so you can fix and re-upload.

Committing (activating) an uploaded sheet¶
- Sheets you've uploaded appear in the table with a status of draft, staged, active, or archived. Select Commit on a draft sheet to activate it.
- Phonovo validates the sheet before it goes live. If there are no issues, it commits straight away.
- If validation finds warnings, you'll see a REVIEW recommendation with the findings listed — check the box confirming you've reviewed them, then select Acknowledge & activate.
- If validation finds critical issues, you'll see a REJECT recommendation. To activate anyway, type a reason of at least 20 characters explaining why, then select Override & activate. This is recorded in the audit trail.
