Use star codes from your phone¶
Use these short codes from a desk phone, the mobile app, or the webphone to manage voicemail, call forwarding, Do Not Disturb, and call return.
Voicemail¶
| Code | What it does |
|---|---|
*97 |
Open your own voicemail box. |
*98 |
Open any voicemail box you are allowed to access. |
*99 followed by an extension |
Send a call directly to that extension's voicemail. |
Dial *99 and the extension together, for example *991001 for extension 1001, then place the call.
Do Not Disturb¶
| Code | What it does |
|---|---|
*78 |
Turn on Do Not Disturb. Incoming calls go to voicemail without ringing your devices. |
*79 |
Turn off Do Not Disturb and allow incoming calls to ring normally. |
If all-call forwarding is enabled, calls follow that destination instead of going to voicemail. You can also manage Do Not Disturb in Device Ringing and Do Not Disturb.
Call forwarding¶
| Code | What it does |
|---|---|
*72 followed by a number |
Forward all calls to that number. For example, dial *7207700900123 to forward calls to 07700900123. |
*73 |
Cancel all-call forwarding. |
Enter the full UK national number after *72, including the leading 0. For a number outside the UK, use the number format supported by your service. You can also manage forwarding in Forward your calls.
Call return¶
| Code | What it does |
|---|---|
*69 |
Call back the last number that called you. |
