Log in to Phonovo and find your way around¶
This guide walks you through signing in to your Phonovo portal and getting oriented once you're in.
Who this is for: everyday users and admins — the steps are the same whether it's your very first login or your hundredth.
Before you start¶
- Your Phonovo portal address — the link your account admin or welcome email gave you (often something like
https://portal.phonovo.com, or your own company's custom portal address). - Your email address or username, and your password (a temporary one if this really is your first login).
- Your authenticator app or backup codes to hand, if your organization has two-factor authentication turned on.
Steps¶
- Open your Phonovo portal address in a browser. If you're not already signed in, the Welcome Back sign-in page loads automatically.
- Enter your email address or username in the Email or Username field, then your password in the Password field. Use the eye icon in the password field if you want to check what you've typed.
- Signing in to a partner (reseller) account rather than managing your own phone system? Select Partner Portal Login underneath the form first — this switches the form to the partner sign-in flow. Otherwise leave it as-is; the customer portal is the default.
- Tick Remember me if you'd like to stay signed in for longer, then select Log into Dashboard.
- If two-factor authentication is enabled on your account, you'll be asked to enter the code from your authenticator app (or one of your backup codes) to finish signing in.
- If you're logging in with a temporary password (either on first login or after an admin resets your password), you'll land on a Change Your Password screen. Choose a new password that meets the requirements shown on screen, confirm it, then select Set New Password & Continue.
- On your very first login you may also see a short Welcome to Your Phone System! tour covering your extension, caller ID, call forwarding and email notification preferences. Work through it and select Get Started, or close it with the X in the corner — you can pick it up again later from Settings → Help → Setup Tour → Retake Setup Tour.
- You're in. The sidebar on the left is grouped into sections — look for headings such as Communication (Dashboard, Extensions, Dialpad, Inbound Routing), Support, Logs & Records (Call Logs, Voicemails, Recordings), Analytics, Account (Billing, Add-On Products), and, if you're an admin, Administration (Phone Numbers, Users, Settings). Exactly which sections and items you see depends on your role and what your organization has switched on. Click your name in the top right at any time to reach My Profile, Security Settings or Settings.
